The Islamist group Hamas urged Palestinians on Thursday to abandon peace efforts and launch a new uprising against Israel in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as its capital.
The Israeli military said it was reinforcing troops in the occupied West Bank, deploying several new army battalions and putting other forces on standby, describing the measures as part of its “readiness for possible developments”.
Protests so far have been scattered and largely non-violent.
But dozens of Palestinians gathered at two points on the Gaza border fence with Israel and threw rocks at soldiers on the other side. Inside Gaza, thousands of Palestinians rallied, some chanting: “Death to America! Death to the fool Trump!” and burning tires.

Hamas needs to get over themselves. Jerusalem was significant to the Jews and Christians (and Romans) long before Moosehanded was a twinkle in his child-mother’s eye.
Yep. All the media people are decrying that Trump is derailing the Mid East “peace process”. What peace process? The one where the “palestinians “ toss bombs, rocks and whatnot into Israel? Or the one where the arabs knife Israelies at the grocery store? There’s only one side that would truly like peace with their neighbors and it’s not the palis.
The media headcases can suck it.

There will be an increase in the murder and violence. It’s the way the Palis “stamp their feet.” Israel will not know peace, until every last one of the Palis is in the ground. If the past nearly 70 years don’t give the world a clue, there is no use bringing the reality of the situation to their attention again.
