Deputy AG Rosenstein Says He's Satisfied With Special Counsel Mueller's Work

The U.S. Department of Justice official who appointed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election said he is satisfied with the special counsel’s work.

When the News4 I-Team asked Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein if he was satisfied with the work thus far of the U.S. Office of the Special Counsel, Rosenstein said yes.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly called the Russia probe a politically motivated "witchhunt." Only Rosenstein would have the authority to fire Mueller.

Rosenstein, a longtime former U.S. attorney in Maryland, told the I-Team in an interview Monday that he was limited in explaining why he was satisfied with the special counsel’s work.

[Paragraph 8] Rosenstein has oversight over the special counsel because Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation. Rosenstein formally approved the appointment of Mueller.

He said his team is accountable for the work of Mueller and the special counsel team.

24 “But let justice roll down like waters And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. “

Now is the witch hunt in reality a charade to cover up the horrendous crimes committed by the Clinton Crime Family Foundation? It would appear that they are trying to head Trump off at the pass to prevent him from draining so much slime from the swamp that the nation’s Penal Institutions couldn’t accommodate!

Ah yes it does make sense and Comey has become truly however unknowingly a prophet!

Of course he is satisfied, along with Sessions. They are both very satisfied.

Let’s not mince words. Collusion can be discarded and ‘interference’ can replace it.

Who gave the ‘mission’ to Mueller to focus on Russian interference in the 2016 election?

Whoever/whatever defined the scope for Mueller needs to review his progress. So far he’s a got a couple of shaky indictments related to Ukraine, not Russia. As Mueller and is poorly chosen staff burn through money, he has to be held to account.

Rosenstein appointed Mueller. Rosenstein must answer to Mueller’s performance. This is SOP in government operations.

Rosenstein must answer to Mueller’s efforts on finding Russian interference in the 2016 election. All he has to do is to issue a statement “ Mr. Mueller is finding evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election”. But he can’t do that because it’s not true.
