Deputy AG Rosenstein Says He's Satisfied With Special Counsel Mueller's Work
NBC Washington (Channel 4) ^ | 12/06/2017 | Scott MacFarlane

The U.S. Department of Justice official who appointed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election said he is satisfied with the special counsel’s work.

When the News4 I-Team asked Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein if he was satisfied with the work thus far of the U.S. Office of the Special Counsel, Rosenstein said yes.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly called the Russia probe a politically motivated "witchhunt." Only Rosenstein would have the authority to fire Mueller.

Rosenstein, a longtime former U.S. attorney in Maryland, told the I-Team in an interview Monday that he was limited in explaining why he was satisfied with the special counsel’s work.

[Paragraph 8] Rosenstein has oversight over the special counsel because Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation. Rosenstein formally approved the appointment of Mueller.

He said his team is accountable for the work of Mueller and the special counsel team.

And I believe that Rosenstein is satisfied - and really, isn’t that the problem? Swamp creature A hires swamp creature B who then hires 17 other swamp creatures. Why would any of the swamp creatures be unhappy.

Justice, however, is being abused along with the American people - even the the ones who hate Trump. When Justice is lost, everyone loses.

Of course the LEFTIST Rosenstein is satisfied. Meanwhile Sessions (with “his balls in his wife’s purse” as said by a Rush caller today) continues to sleep.

Rosenstein is hearing footsteps. He came out of hiding because he is getting trashed night after night by Hannity. Don’t choke Rod.

Of course he is.

He’s the SOB who set this up: recall he’s the one who wrote the “fire Comey” memo.

THEN he writes an open ended Special Counsel memo to INVESTIGATE his boss - the President - for doing what he recommended!!

Talk about a frame up.

He’s the culprit!

Investigate HIM and his ties to Comey and Mueller in this conspiracy to overthrow the Presidency!

How can our nation tolerate the FBI being complicit in destroying evidence (laptops and hard drives) yet fail to collect evidence (like the DNC server), then have the author of the ‘dossier’ on the FBI payroll while he was also collecting fees from Hillary and the DNC, then use the fictional ‘dossier’ as a launching pad for running to the FISA Court to spy on Hilary’s opponent using the fictional ‘dossier’ as gospel? Not even perverse Hollywood could come up with a script like this...

Comey, Rosenstein, and Mueller: Too Conflicted to Fail (tm)

Well, justice is blind. And gagged, and bound and being held in a car trunk somewhere in the South Jersey Pine Barrens!

There, ladies and gentlemen, is our problem. Rosenstein. Not Mueller, he was appointed by Rosenstein. A special prosecutor to take out Trump is the work of Rosenstein.

I believe they thought it would be over in three months. I didn’t matter who the chose to put on their team because they had the goods on Trump. And they are wrong. Every night Hannity pounds the snot out of Rosenstein,Weissman and Mulhead. Hannity should start going after the slut next. That would draw some people out theirs holes.

Rosenstein is the man ultimately responsible for hiring an obvious corrupt political hack in the first place. So many conflicts of interest that one can only come to the conclusion that Rosenstein was never interested in justice in the first place. If he was then why is there not a balanced and unbiased prosecutor with no past history of involvement in the case.

That makes Rosenstein part of the swamp in my book.

Now you know why he flew through the confirmation process. He needs to be fired as well as whomever recommended him.

Rosenstein is an appointee so he can be fired.

The way to fire him is to review Mueller, his expenses, his hiring decisions, his work product, and his accomplishments according to his original purposes to investigate collusion of the Trump Campaign with Russians interfering in the US presidential election.

Many here have known the answer and have known it for many months.

Rosenstein should say unequivocally that Mueller is finding evidence of collusion with Russians. Rosenstein need say no more than that. If he won’t say at least that, then he needs to shut down Mueller. If he won’t say it, and he won’t shut down Mueller, then he and Mueller should be fired by Sessions.

Although Sessions recused himself from the investigation, he did not cede his responsibilities for fiscal management or setting agency priorities.

Sessions has every right to ask what is the status of the investigation. If Sessions is called before Congress to explain why he fired these people, he can show a paper and wave it in the air, saying that Rodenstein himself declared there are no findings of Russian collusion and it makes no fiscal sense to continue an effort that is decided.
