My 1st hubby-cub’s dad-and I were on the way to NM one winter over the holidays-the cub pouted and acted out all the way from here to near Eldorado-after about 10PM, we were on an empty stretch of the highway, it had started to snow-hubby pulled the Suburban off to the side of the road-told the cub if she didn’t shut up the bitching, we would find some Arabs to sell her to-she was quiet until we crossed the state line and stopped for gas-but I’m sure that is called child abuse now...
When I was a kid, my mom and aunts would yell at all of us if we were being obnoxious or fighting-they would yell voy a matar-I’m going to kill you-they would be arrested now, but no one thought anything of it then...
