Plus I got a nice burn in on my mom. She was all excited that I was bringing a girl home to meet the parents. In reality, we weren’t even dating yet, just good friends.
When I got home, my mom said “I made your favorite thing for dinner...Lasagna.”
I replied with “Who the heck told you I like lasagna?”
I’ll eat it but it’s far from a favorite. She must have been thinking of one of my brothers.
