I am old enough to remember when the GOP was painted as the country club, lawyer, professional, millionaire crowd (a.k.a “the rich”) and the democrats were the blue collar “working man”.

Today, that paradigm has flipped. Yet the same old political saws are used as if the Dems are the financially oppressed
