I would think ABC would be liable to a Class Action lawsuit on behalf of anyone who happened to put a 'sell' order in at the time Ross dropped his turd on the Market.

I think the bigger problem is all of the people who had their stop loss orders triggered because of that big spike down. Now somebody else owns their stock because of the big lie.

Good point.
The downward spike was short-lived - which is why I commented about the people who just happened to place 'sell' requests at the wrong time - but you are correct, a larger swath of folks got robbed just because they were using stop loss settings.
Brian Ross and ABC should be culpable for these losses.
