Perhaps Germany will wake up, but they have never been very good at that.

Having a degree in Germanic Languages, and having read a lot of German literature/screenplays from the 1950s-1980s, I can say that the Germans are really good at asking "How could we have let this happen?"

henkster, I'm really surprised at you. You base your assumptions on what liberals & COMMUNIST agitators ( literature/screenplays) say!

Let me ask a question: Show me the newspaper headlines, " Germany and The USSR invade peaceful Poland to start WWII" or "German & Russian War Criminals on trial!"
