Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas has been waging a battle against U.S. President Donald Trump's intention to recognize Jerusalem as the official capital of the State of Israel but appears to be having trouble recruiting Arab leaders to the cause, Hahadashot (formerly Channel 2 News) reported Sunday.
According to the report, Abbas has been calling all the leaders of the Arab and Islamic region and asked them to convene an emergency meeting of the Arab League.
Despite his appeals, however, the leaders of the Arab world are not cooperating with him. The only one who expressed willingness to help is Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is trying to prevent Trump from going through with the move.
According to the report, Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh spoke on the phone with Abbas and the two agreed that the Palestinians should demonstrate against the American decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Trump is to decide by Monday whether he will sign the waiver delaying the move of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and it has been speculated that he may prefer to declare American recognition of Jerusalem first and wait before moving the embassy.

Wow! Another WIN for Trump!
Normally, the bastards scheme and plot on how to find and kill as heinously as possible some little kids, women and old men!
I am sure that Mahmoud Abbas could find support from Hussein Obama.
Erdogan was a Saudi protege.
But Saudi has changed.
He hasnt come to heel yet it seems.
I wonder why.

Hussein Obama’s days of influence are waning. When the lips are gone, the teeth get cold.
Lebanon was a staging area for wanna-be Palestinians trying to get into Israel, but more recently, wanna-be Palestinians have been leaving their camps in Lebanon in large numbers to go back to Arab states. Maybe they no longer want to be wanna-be Palestinians.
Hezbollah hasn’t been successful at coercing them to stay in the camps. There’s also been chatter saying that Iran is starting a proxy war in Lebanon against the Saudis. Last month, Saudi Arabia told its citizens in Lebanon to leave there immediately.

Funny how launching 50+ cruise missiles into Syria this past April changed the playing field.
“Trump launches military strike against Syria”
The not so secret SECRET in the Middle East is that the Arabs hate the Palestinians. The only purpose they serve is a club to use on the Zionists. After 60+ years of Israeli success, combined with unchecked Persian ambition to dominate the region, most Arab governments came to the conclusion that enlightened self interest dictates the shift we now see. Thanks.

The pain level isnt quite high enough yet.

If it were only up to the regional politics, that would play itself out quickly. But there are delegates and officials in the UN who actually believe that there’s an indigenous people called the Palestinians, and that they’re really oppressed and persecuted, and that that’s the driving force of instability in the Middle East, and if only the Jooos! would relent, everything would be donkey whore-y. They’re paid good money to believe this. Probably by the Persians with their unchecked ambition, among others. And the UN can be despised and jeered, but they’re still a real force and they can’t be ignored. For that and many other reasons, among them tradition, nothing in this region makes any sense. I live in kookoo-land, in an island of sometimes sanity, surrounded by kookoo countries, surviving despite the insane interference of the UN, a body that promotes world peace by constantly exacerbating conflict when they aren’t instigating it. Trump’s new initiatives are like a ray of sunshine in all this. Hope nobody assassinates him.
