What do you mean why aren't they deported after they serve their sentences?

They keep coming back to commit more crimes besides the crime of entering the US illegally.

Well, yeah. They should serve some sort of sentence for coming here illegally in the first place. And if they should commit a crime before it’s discovered they are here illegally, that should be added to the sentence.
