I bet Starbucks tea is as bad as their coffee, but without that bizarre reputation of being special.

Does the tea taste burnt?

Tevana tea is horrible. Before Starbucks bought Tevana they used to use a company called Tazo which is a decent tea as a supplier. I like Tazo’s mint and black breakfast tea. That was my treat in airports. Since Teavana came on the scene I bring my own tea bag and request hot water for my beverage on the flight.

I prefer hot tea to coffee, and Starbucks does make a good cup - if they keep it out of those damned paper containers.

The tea is good but it is horrifically expensive.

Teavana is actually a pretty good store, it carries quality tea services as well as numerous herbal style teas. It is unfortunately short on basic black tea, Irish or English Breakfast, eg. A stupid marketing shortfall, but fine of you like fancy flavored pseudo teas.
