I bet Starbucks tea is as bad as their coffee, but without that bizarre reputation of being special.

Tevana tea is horrible. Before Starbucks bought Tevana they used to use a company called Tazo which is a decent tea as a supplier. I like Tazos mint and black breakfast tea. That was my treat in airports. Since Teavana came on the scene I bring my own tea bag and request hot water for my beverage on the flight.

I prefer hot tea to coffee, and Starbucks does make a good cup - if they keep it out of those damned paper containers.

The tea is good but it is horrifically expensive.

Teavana is actually a pretty good store, it carries quality tea services as well as numerous herbal style teas. It is unfortunately short on basic black tea, Irish or English Breakfast, eg. A stupid marketing shortfall, but fine of you like fancy flavored pseudo teas.
