Thanks for reminding me that our outdoor heated dog bowl might need water! We keep one for the birds and squirrels.
I shopped for heated bird baths our first winter here and found out that they are expensive so we got a huge heated dog bowl and I put rocks around it to disguise the bright white color. (Gotta be pretty!) The rocks also help keep the elk from kicking it over.
