I remember when Clinton established The Escalante National Monument. He did not even go into Utah or have any leaders from Utah at the ceremony. Instead he went to an adjacent state and made a splashy speech from a high elevation that overlooked Utah.
The host on RSBN just said that 2/3 of the land in Utah is owned by the federal government. It’s about half for all of the west. The land that PDJT removed from the monument is still owned by the feds, but will have far more autonomy by the people of Utah as to its use.
