The agent who was clearly biased and who participated in the Hillary email coverup is under investigation by the DOJ Office of Inspector General. Who referred the case to them? I suspect it was Sessions.

I have heard that congress does not want Sessions replaced, and assuming there is some truth in that, confirming a new AG would be more painful than normal. Meanwhile, there would be a risk that Rosenstein would do more damage.

Yes......according to all the articles I gathered on these two....The ‘top’ FBI official ‘Peter Strzok’ was taken off Mueller’s team after his bosses discovered he and another member of Mueller’s team, FBI lawyer ‘Lisa Page’, had exchanged politically charged texts disparaging President Trump and supporting Hillary Clinton.

During the Clinton investigation, Strzok was involved in a extramarital affair relationship with Lisa age, who worked During the Clinton email investigation...... Lisa Page was a regular participant when Comey would hold “skinny group’’ meetings on the case — a small collection of advisers who gathered regarding sensitive issues. So she was a Comey gal ta boot!

The FBI consistently withholds requested information called and subpoenaed by congress. Their reasons abound but it’s not hard to see they protect and cover for far more than their agents and confidentiality that would hurt current investigations...... There’s no doubt in my mind the agency is politicized and as corrupt as congress itself.
