So how in the heck will every Blue Stater manage to pick up and move if they can’t get a sale price large enough to pay off their mortgage? Who will buy their homes?

Oh, they won't care. You will get smarmy comments like:"If you don't like it MOVE!"
No matter if you have a home, a life, a job, parents, friends, churches, etc.
Just move to where they are - because the state that they live in is the only "correct" one.
How long before all these people cheering tax increases on blue states are whining about their states turning blue? And what will they do when they have to compete for a job with a percentage of California’s twenty million strong work force? I expect some may rue the day they began chasing people out of blue states.
