I’m not and have never been real concerned about Mueller bringing Trump down.

Thanks for the nice long post and sorry to have to dissect it down like this it down like this. But if you dont fear Mueller, you should, becase a special prosecutor is about the only way to take a president down. And even if Trump is innocent, if the Democrats retake the house, whatever Mueller can dig up or falsify will be the perfect weapon for them to impeach. Heck with these backstabbing Republicans it may not even take a Democratically controlled house.

I don’t remember anyone saying there was a love fest between Trump and Mueller, that they were secretly BFFs. - only that his investigation was likely to lead to Democrats being indicted due to the amount of Democrat guilt.

Then you weren't looking very closely then, because without a scant of evidence they believe that Trump and Mueller came up with a scheme so grand that no one can possibly even find out it is actually going on, no matter how many are following this story. Now they're even claiming Mueller needs years of freedom from criticism, since he hasnt arrested any Dema yet, because it will take that long to gather evidence on Clinton (lol). But they believe Trump has so much faith in Mueller, he will continue to lie on Twitter, and to the camera, while his own people get indicted, because his trust in Mueller is so unshakable and strong.

Thankfully you dont appear to believe that, but obviously many do, and still will even after another Trump team member is charged by Mueller like has happened today.

“they believe Trump and Mueller came up with a scheme so grand”
“they believeTrump has so much faith in Mueller”
“his [Trump’s] trust in Mueller is so unshakable and strong”.

See, it’s hyperbolic inferences like this that I’m objecting to.

Add to that all the x dimensional chess comments and BFF comments and Trump and Mueller are best buddies comments.

I get it, you think Mueller is a threat - and that’s a totally legitimate opinion which I respect.

But attempting to belittle those of us who disagree by implying that we think Trump and Mueller have a “grand scheme” or that Trump has all this “unshakable faith” in Mueller - that’s just a total mischaracterization of the argument we are making.

Speaking just for myself, the ONLY basis for my lack of concern is that I don’t think there is enough dirt on Trump to bring him down without dragging a bunch of Democrat heavy hitters down with him - which they won’t let happen.

I think Trump has enough common sense to realize he’d just make things worse by trying to shut down Mueller’s investigation. I think Trump is connected enough to know the limits of what they have on him vs what they have on other people - but that’s not 3D chess, it’s just politics.

It has zero to do with super 3D chess, grand schemes, secret friendships, or unshakable faith.

It’s sarcasm, designed to shake them out of their trance, since straight up logic never works. The theory deserves mockery at this point, since it’s been endlessly presented as fact despite all the indicators to the opposite.

By the way, LS just posted on Twitter he quote “doesn’t know what Mueller is doing with this.” Maybe he’s starting to reconsider he should have never insisted that Mueller and Trump were working together, as if it was unquestionable fact. Because from the looks of that thread, he’s convinced so many that it is true that he could have a very hard time reconciling it all now.

BTW, my goal is hardly ‘I told you so.’ My goal is to alert people,of the danger of Mueller, as it is either inability to grasp thus that ever allows them to consider becomming an actual cheerleader for him as some have done.

My belief is that the theory born from the deep state or nevertrumpers who want to divide Trump’s base, and unfortunately it has worked, and will continue to work, since some are so committed to it now.

Is lying to the FBI a crime?

Is lying to a policeman?

I thought that that lying was a "crime" when you were under oath (i.e. in a courtroom after being sworn in.)

What you say to a policeman / investigator "can be used against you in a court of law" and you would be taking a risk to lie, but is that really a "crime?"

I was referring to your earlier post. And glad to see you finally taking a step from being so certain about your theory, which is all I ever really asked. Cheers!

I haven’t taken any such steps.

Cheers. (Glad you are so elated though that a patriot has been taken down).

I have no idea what you're talking about, since you've been the main Mueller supporter on this site, while I have been one of his biggest critics. To each his own I suppose, unless you're finally ready to join me as a critic. At least until we have some real reason not to be.

No reason at all to be critical.

Just be patient. Oh, wait, that’s not for you.

I find Golden Eagle’s post to reflect both abundant reason and intelligence, and very much appreciate his efforts.

As far as Mueller goes, there is so much evil emanating from his demeanor, it is extremely unlikely that he would ever work for Trump, a man who he profoundly detests.

His history of working evil is well-documented. His best buds are those who are equally steeped in nefarious activities. He has no reason to work for Good.

As President-elect, Trump did not know ahead of time that Sessions would betray him by recusal. As well, I don’t believe at the time of his Mueller’s appointment, that Trump ever had anything “on” him to use as leverage.

But, bottom line is, NONE of us really know what is happening, and can only give our best take on what we think is happening. We’re probably all wrong, lol.

Thanks for the kind words. No one knows for sure where this is headed, but all the supposed facts are all piled on one side, as of today, starting with Mueller’s long dubious history and ending with Trump’s own heaps of constant criticism of him and his current “investigation.”

What’s most bothersome to me are those with the cavalier attitude, who really don’t see or care what the consequences of their actions are, and only seem interested in their ability to stir the pot for their own personal enjoyment. They don’t care the facts are all on one side, In fact the more one sided the logical argument gets, the more they enjoy talking in circles and seeing who’s’ left they can still fool.

“BTW, my goal is hardly ‘I told you so’.”

Well, it comes off as a very personal attempt to prove a particular FReeper wrong. Just stick to the issues and tell us what you think. If your ideas have merit they will stand on their own without the constant need to discredit someone else’s ideas.

Looking at their histories, both were in power working for Obama. Flynn was removed for not following the Obama Fake Narrative that he had Al Quada running away. Flynn was head of DIA when Mueller was Director of the FBI.
Seems like they should be working on the same side.
All the charges might be a cover story for them to perform real work.

I’m simply trying to confront those that appear to be aiding and abetting special counsel Robert Mueller, and his investigation, which appears to be an attempt to get our duly elected president impeached.

If that bothers you, you’ll just have to deal with it, because there is no actual evidence their theory that Trump supports anything that Mueller is doing, in fact all evidence is currently to the contrary, therefore there is no reason for my position to change.

Thankfully there now only seems to be one small handful of Freepers who are still invested in the theory, which at this point appears to be an attempt to sew dissent between conservatives concocted by nevertrumpers and the deep state. As to what the induvidual motives of these Freepers are, we can only guess. But when the purpose of their posts is solely for us to back off Mueller and allow him more room to operate, they clearly remain suspect and worthy of question if not derision, at least until they can finally provide some actual evidence their theory is true, or until any of their so far failed predictions ever actually bear out.

Just crazy. The guy just plead guilty to a felony. This not fake, or yeah let's take one for the team. Good grief.
