Unbelievable. Prosecutors screwed up big time, plus should have had a change of venue because residents of San Francisco love illegals and hate Trump. No matter how strong the evidence, they would have reached the same conclusion. A miscarriage of justice, but watch them celebrate this illegal murderer, give him sanctuary, ignore a dead American.
In most states (not sure about CA), the prosecution cannot request a change in venue, only the defense.
That said, the prosecution f*cked up big-time here. The guy admitted shooting the gun, told a whole bunch of conflicting stories about why he shot it, and they couldn’t even get involuntary manslaughter? Utter incompetence (or worse).
