YES, I KNOW....but, the stupids on the jury...
I’m reading he had felonies before this.
He had been deported five times.
It was unlawful for him to have a weapon.
Here he stole a weapon.
He then discharged that weapon into a crowd.
Yep, sounds like not guilty to me...
Just a poor tragic fella, who things always went wrong for, despite his attempts to live a really great life and contribute to society...

Bottom line, the public defender convinced the jury that it was not murder because he did not target Steinle directly. They must have believed the gun went off accidentally, too since deliberately shooting the gun among the people on the pier would meet the definition of 2nd degree murder ( a killing caused by dangerous conduct and the offender’s obvious lack of concern for human life).
The City of San Francisco has Steinle’s blood all over their hands - the guy would not have been on the street but for their sanctuary city policies which are most deliberate and not any sort of an ‘accident’. I think letting this guy off puts more wind in Trump’s sails, not less, for the border wall & punishing sanctuary cities for disregarding the law.
Thisis way bigger than the Rodney King verduict, bigger than OJ and on a par with the Bundy’s... this is rotten to the core. Will mexican homes and businesses be burned? No. Why? We are a moral people but this needs to be changed and fast,
