A confident Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday the Senate will take a final vote on a $1.4 trillion tax package as soon as Thursday night or by Friday at the latest.

"We are on the cusp of a great victory for the country and particularly small business," McConnell said at an event featuring small business owners praising the GOP tax plan.

something interesting to watch here, if people like Joe Manchin and other Dems like him who are up for re-election in Trump states vote for it now that it’s going to pass. If they do, don’t believe them. We all know they would have voted no if the Pubs didn’t have the votes.

If they DO vote for it then they can try to box them into voting for the final bill after conference and then Collins’ demands can be ignored

The FLIES IN THE OINTMENT:

Jeff Flake
Bob Corker
Susan Collins

The first two are not running for re-election and both of them hate Trump’s guts and would like nothing than to derail anything that would make Trump look good.

Ms. Collins is a Democrat dressed in Republican clothing.

Then, there’s Ron Johnson who is “iffy” at best because he has issues with Pass-Through corporations.

Being in the House must really suck.

The Senate ALWAYS says to the House, what you did sucks.

We will do it OUR way.

So we will find out if they are complete douche bags or not. Perhaps since McConnell is saying “let’s do this” they might come on board?

While I am sure there are some swamp creatures in the House, it appears 49 or so of them reside in the Senate.
