I am fairly convinced that to be in television or movies one has to be nearly devoid of shame. Entertainers are wired, um, differently.

Makes sense. You’re gonna fail on stage a lot I’d imagine. I guess they build up a tolerance to criticism/shame since they need that kind of “shield” to advance their careers. By the time they’re on top, the voice in their head that directs them how to react/behave is dead as a doornail!
