President Trump suggested on Wednesday that MSNBC host Joe Scarborough should be investigated for murder.
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the ‘unsolved mystery’ that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.
In 2001, when Scarborough was a GOP congressman from Florida, his 28-year-old intern Lori Klausutis was found dead behind a desk in his district office.

The headline is misleading. He suggested no such thing. He suggested he should be investigated.

I love it! Trump did NOT suggest Scarborough killed his intern, all he said was “unsolved mystery.” The press does the rest!
Joe has been suggesting for the last 6 months that Trump, his son and son-in-law are traitors to the country and one step from being indicted, with less incriminating evidence than a dead office worker’s body.

The New York Post suggested it in their headline. They mentioned the intern that few people know about. By responding to Trump’s tweet they put it out in the public. Did they know what they were doing? Or did Trump play them and they fell for it?

He simply pointed out that the circumstances were never properly investigated and remain a mystery
I recall reading in former baseball player Graig Nettles’ book “Balls” in which, during his days as a New York Yankee, he told someone from another news outlet that he’d rather catch his young kids reading through a copy of “Hustler” as opposed to the New York Post.
Why are you claiming Lori Klausutis was a lesbian? There is absolutely no evidence of that.
He plays these people better than a violin.
