I never really see too much in others watching the never ending blah blah blah of the ESPN commentators discussing the importance of the shoe size of this guy over that.... 24/7 sports talk is mind numbingly stupid and in my case contributed to my lack of interest in Sports that grew over the years and finally culminated in a total boycott last year.

While I think the lack of respect shown for the Anthem is despicable. OK, it is a lousy song and I cannot see how one can drink to it. I’ll be honest, part of my “fed-up-ed-ness” is due to it being on 3 or 4 times a week. When you had 14 games on Sunday, a Monday night game, and 2 teams off, you had appointment television. Now, you’ve got 2 teams off a week, 13 games on Sunday (all day, in the weeks of a London game), a Monday night game, and the EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY game(s).. it’s too much.
