Hi,NIKK!

Even if they found the sub, the people on it are long dead.

The oxygen ran out 4-5 days ago.

The Argentine government released information on Saturday that, at the time of the sub’s disappearance, they heard an explosion underwater.

I fear that is when the sub was sinking off the Continental Shelf to its crush depth, and it met a Thresher-like fate. The water where they disappeared was 1000 meters to as much as 3,000 meters.

Crush depth is about 400 meters, and no rescue can be attempted past 600 meters.

Like Thresher, that sub is in pieces on the ocean floor.

I hope to God I am wrong.

Thanks for the informative post about the water depths and sub. Doesn’t sound good does it.
