I had a contractor at my house tell me something similar

It used to be that one could remove the phone battery if one wanted absolute privacy (eg. in consult with attorney). The new fancy smart phones do not have removeable batteries...

Mine does....LG V20. I use this model because I carry an extra battery with me so I don't have to worry about having a place to charge my battery during the day.
