GOP Sen. Lamar Alexander told CNBC that he will vote again for an amnesty, even though his vote for the Democratic-led 2013 amnesty bill helped demolish his establishment GOP peers during the 2016 primaries and election.
We need a legal immigration system, and we need to put that behind us, he told CNBCs John Harwood. We tried to do it in 2013; I voted for it. It wouldve solved many of the problems
I would vote for it again.

Wait, what? I thought we already had one.
We’ve generally had an immigration in place for over 150 years, with modifications occurring about every twenty-odd years. As stupid as some Senators are, they probably need to be sent back home and have a chat with locals about history and their obligations to the state itself.
I always wondered, with his flannel shirts, what gang he was with.
Somebody tell Sessions that his pie hole is for drooling out of.
STOP GIVING PRIZES
or they won't stop coming.
“We need a legal immigration system”
Alexander, you idiot, we have a legal immigration system. The problem is that there are a huge contingency of people that are violating it.
The Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA), the body of law governing current immigration policy, provides for an annual worldwide limit of 675,000 permanent immigrants, with certain exceptions for close family members. Lawful permanent residency allows a foreign national to work and live lawfully and permanently in the United States. Lawful permanent residents (LPRs) are eligible to apply for nearly all jobs (i.e., jobs not legitimately restricted to U.S. citizens) and can remain in the country even if they are unemployed. Each year the United States also admits noncitizens on a temporary basis. Annually, Congress and the President determine a separate number for refugee admissions.
Immigration to the United States is based upon the following principles: the reunification of families, admitting immigrants with skills that are valuable to the U.S. economy, protecting refugees, and promoting diversity, and not creating a job or people saturation that can stress the limits of our existing population or its services. In the meantime, the above areas are constantly being re-evaluated so as not to destroy the continuity of our in place operational system but still make entrance a possibility.
So for a government official like Alexander to say we need something we already have, and it has been in practice for over 50 years and would do an outstanding job if it was not violated by millions of illegal entries every year, and this guy calls himself a conservative, then he must be a really stupid one. (Sounds like a lib. Cut off his funds)

Sessions?
You’re on the list
Primary this low life
What a scumbag.
Ha! Somehow that post ended up here. I was in a taxi and must have hit a bump when I went to click on the thread about Roy Moore leading.
Session should shut up about the credibility of Roy Moore’s accusers.
List? I make the list!
Send him to Mexico and then build the wall to keep him from coming back.
As Dirty Harry would so famously say; Marvelous.
Listening is not your strong suit, is it? Sessions said he had no reason to dispute what either side was saying but you want to gulp up the half truths of what the media is telling you.
Pardon the bump in the road that I placed there to distract you.
No. “I have no reason to doubt these young women,” Sessions said during the hearing on Tuesday.
He should have done what he does best and did and said nothing.
He was not obligated to opine.
No worries about the bump. Taxi had shit suspension.
Just as he likes amnesty for corrupt and sexual predator congress people.
Don’t look now but somebody burglarized your mind. Chop up ALL of his testimony all you want into the press’s little sound bites. You can nibble at the crumbs while I take the whole loaf, thank you.
If you want to defend that donut that is your prerogative. He has no respect for the Constitution.
Stop with the ad hominem attacks. They aren’t even remotely creative or funny.
And this is actually the wrong thread anyway. Sorry Jeff. Gotta go. Now go back to sleep and dream of unlawfully seizing private property.
Wrong thread? Geez you are certainly in charge of your environment!
Retire you old fool.
