I think it is a matter of times and opinions changing. In the old days, 40 years is a while back, men tended to there careers and married later when they could afford to keep a stay at home mom. The girls mothers were probably very happy to have a man like Moore dating their daughters.
I am old and can remember a time when women over 30 and not married were consider “old maids.”

Just a couple things. One if we condemn muslims for such a practice we have to be consistent. Two ask the question if you would let your daughter of 17 date a 32 yr old. But it was over 30 years ago so that mitigates it to some extent. And TWO things can be true. That Moore has a creepy past AND the GOP swamp is responsible for the accusations. In the end whatever choice Alabama makes will be the right one

We should all write letters to upcoming Senator Roy Moore to commit now to making his life's work going forward the utter destruction of the uniparty cabal. This means NOT dropping the issue with his false accusers and Gloria Allred, NOT dropping exposing the involvement of DC criminals like McConnell and Gardner, and promising to use every last procedural machination to rake the (R) Senate Campaign Committee old guard over the coals and give them strokes in the process.
A century and a half ago, all these scoundrels would never get away with this crap. When someone was falsely accused by a coward they ran the risk of being called out for a duel. Perhaps we should just get back to that, I like our odds. Without people being held accountable for their sneaky, lying accusations and devious plotting and scheming, they succeed in keeping all the good guys out of town leaving only the eunuchs running ruining the country.
