In Arizona felony speeding is going more than 20 mph over the posted speed limit OR in excess of 85 mph anywhere else in the state.

About 5 years ago a coworker of mine was going 25 mph above the posted speed limit on his way to work. He was arrested and his car was impounded. By the grace of God, he was not fired by my company because of his felony speeding ticket.

This happened about five years ago, and 3 years ago my company instituted a new policy: any felony motor vehicle violation will result in immediate termination.

Are you sure that is a felony? Hard to believe you would lose your right to vote and own guns for doing 25 over. I could see a misdemeanor and being permanently on ones record. In any event, if I find myself in Az I will heed your advice.
