Joy Reid: The Fact That People Are Still Supporting Moore Is ‘Incredibly Disturbing’
breitbart ^ | PAM KEY

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” roundtable guest and MSNBC host Joy Reid called it “incredibly disturbing” there were people still supporting Republican Alabama U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore, given he is facing allegations that he acted inappropriately and engaged in sexual misconduct in Etowah County, AL decades ago.

Reid said, “The fact that this is a calculation, we’re talking about something of such a different degree. You talked about all of the past scandals, you talked about the Monica Lewinsky situation, which was clearly an improper relationship. But we’re talking about children. We’re talking about multiple allegations of the abuse of children, and the fact that it’s even a question I think speaks to the position that the Republican party finds it’s in, morally.”

“But we’re talking about children. We’re talking about multiple allegations of the abuse of children, “

That is a lie, therefore Reid is a democrat hack spreading propaganda.

And enemy of decent people everywhere.

The fact that people are still believing the Fake News media after they’ve been repeatedly caught lying to the public is “disturbing.”

The fact that Joy Reid has not been run out of town on a rail is disturbing. She is evil.

Translation: “I find it disturbing that our best smear had no effect on the redneck racists of Alabama, and they are in defiance of their betters. (Slap!) Get your paws off my boobs, Al”.

...disgusting, dishonest, unbelievable, and disgusting. I still hold that opinion of democrats to this day. Democrats have not changed at all.

90% of democRATs make the rest look bad.

Where is the apology and “attagirls” for Linda Tripp? Her single handed save kept Monica from the Media shredding machine by telling her to save the evidence. For that matter, who is to say Miss Lewinski would not be part of a footing in a DC suburban office building? I seem to recall every woman in America hating on that “bi^^^” who did Monica wrong for her own goals. Which by the way, was losing your job for being honest.

"We’re talking about multiple allegations of the abuse of children.”

Abuse of minors! Abuse of minors! Abuse of minors!

Where have we heard that before??? I remember! It was back when the Ameralt family was being railroaded on phony child abuse charges, which were generated by aggressive, intimidating interviewing of vulnerable minors - and then it “would have been child abuse” to let the accused confront their accusers. Judgement first, trial later. Back then there was a craze for “recovered memories” which were also produced - not recovered, produced - by psychotherapists.

From reviews of Memory Warp by Mark Pendergrast found on Amazon:

In the 1990s, a faddish pseudoscience, repressed memory theory, destroyed millions of American families by creating false memories of childhood sexual abuse. At the time, Mark Pendergrast published his widely acclaimed book Victims of Memory, exposing the false nature of the science and counseling techniques that were alienating teenagers and grown children from their families. In Memory Warp, Pendergrast revisits that subject, updating his research and describing where it stands now, in 2017.

All notable scientific researchers in the field of memory now agree that repressed-memory theory is misguided and harmful--that the "memories" produced are false, and that those accused--mostly parents and other family members and caregivers--have suffered greatly from false allegations of horrible crimes against their own children. But does that mean that the scourge is now behind us?

Unfortunately, no. The disproven theories of repressed memory continue to resurface throughout Amercan cultural life and, although usually more subtly, in the work of therapists. In this new book, Pendergrast provides a lively social history of our recent past, documenting how this incredible juggernaut of pseudoscience, which caused so much harm, came to be. But more importantly, the book also shows how these misguided theories continue to fester. And how, if we fail to learn from the lurid history of this movement, we may face another outbreak.

I had occasion to research this subject back in the 1990s, and what I learned about the process and the results it produced was horrifying.

So what do we have in the Moore case? We have journalists who are, effectively, prosecutors of Judge Moore just as surely as the prosecutors who railroaded Senator Ted Stevens back in ’08, when the Democrats won his Alaska seat as part of their sweep to a filibuster-proof 60 vote majority that year. And those journalists did a dragnet operation, interviewing women of a particular age until they found some who had, or could be induced by interview technique to be convinced that they had, memories of “abuse” by Deputy DA Moore. From nearly four decades ago. And we’re told that no defense is possible, or even legitimate.

Like the prosecutors who abused Ted Stevens’ rights in ’08, the journalist “prosecutors” of Judge Moore did what they did in view of turning a Senate seat from Republican to Democrat. That is transparent in the fact that these “objective journalists” sprung their assault not during the primary when it would have simply affected the decision of who the Republicans would nominate but afterward when the Democrat was the only alternative to the “awful Judge Moore.”

I would imagine in any country with a free press, people are right to examine the evidence, and make a wise decision.

The fact that millions of people voted for Hillary, the most dishonest and corrupt person ever nominated by a major party, someone who had been in the public spotlight for a long time with no positive achievements to speak of, is incredibly disturbing.

I turned on FOX News Sunday for a few minutes this morning.

Big mistake!

Some weird white “woman” was saying the people of Alabama have the right to vote for whomever they want, but they should not allow a “child molester” on the ticket.

Wh-at?

Anyone know the name of that moonbat?

She was also defending Cory Gardner (Retard, Colorado)_who earlier in the week said Moore should not be seated in the Senate if he is elected.

The fact that MNBC breeds these communist cretins, 24/7, is extremely disturbing.

Then, they invite that self righteous prig from National Review to eagerly and regularly slide in place to regurgitate his constant *NeverTrump talking points tells you just what props for the Left that formerly “conservative” ash rag has become. He must leave skid marks under his chair and a kool aide ring around his mouth for all the suck up he gives to this band of hate filled Marxists.

I mean... Jock Joy Reid?? Who sits within a mile of that Maoist, willingly??

So Comcast wants to buy Twenty First Century, who owns FOX, and ATT wants to buy Comcast, who owns MNBC. WTH???

Kiss Free Press goodbye soon if this all comes together.

I’m actually blown away by the fact someone somewhere is dumb enough to pay Joyless Reid more than a wooden nickel for her opinion which is about as wrong-headed as any opinion can be on consistent basis about any subject involving politics.

Who is this bumbling idiot that pays her anyway?
