To: mom of young patriots
There are also people who aren’t cut out for that kind of life.

I know I'm not. I'm 32, which is probably too old to be drafted, but I also have medical disqualifiers, like epilepsy, and needing testosterone replacement for what my little guys aren't producing.

There are absolutely people like me out there. Literal zero energy that can't do basic.

We're not talking 32 year olds.

We're talking kids right out of school.

The country doesn't need to conscript old guys. :-)

I know people with no medical disqualifiers who would be mentally and physically crushed by basic training. It is not for the faint of heart and I don’t believe people should be conscripted against their will.

I am absolutely grateful to everyone who volunteers. Some of those are in my family. Hats off to all of you.
