Wow! The exact same thing happened to my senior annual. Printer messed up the pages and they had to reprint.

But we got a multi-page insert for friends and teachers to sign until we actually did get the annuals later that summer.

At the time it seem to be a "big deal" but in hindsight, I'd forgotten all about it until I saw your comment. Even went to my 50th high school reunion last year and there was no reference to the "oops" in getting our annuals on time that summer so long ago.

Yeah, you miss out on getting people to sign by their pictures, but decades later who cares unless you're running for Congress.
