What about “Lefty” Discrimination? There are never, any desks for left handed students.

Actually, there were such desks even when I went to college, back in the 70s, and a good number of them when I went back to college in the early 2000s.
The key is to make sure the right-handed kids don’t take them.
Frankly, in any class that wasn’t crowded, I prefered using a right-handed desk, and pulling an empty desk over to use for writing on.
