If Moore sexually exploited teens

Why is "teens" the distinction? Nobody should "exploit" anybody. That said, an 18 year old is a legal adult and if she takes a drink SHE is responsible for taking it. If the judge forced himself on anybody I can see making a distinction between minor and non-minor but "teen" is just an accident of the language. An 18 year old is a woman who can vote, sign up for the military, make a legally binding contract, and do just about anything except get elected at the federal level or order a glass of wine.

You are exactly right and you've made a good point.

As for fornication, there does arise a problem when there is a significant (or perceived to be significant) power difference between them, so that the weaker was intimidated or thought she could not successfully rebuff the stronger.

(Just listening today to a Scots Gaelic Waulking Song on YouTube, "My Father Sold Me to a House of Sorrow" --- a lament about an arranged marriage. Hm.)

From a plain human decency point of view, nobody should have sexual intercourse with anybody but their honest-consenting, honest-wedded spouse.
