Her claim is he locked it so she could not.

I have never seen a car you could not get out of unless it was a squad car. And you can’t drive those from the back seat.

How common were electric locks back then? We never had electric locks while I was growing up in the '70's

But then he pushed her out of the car...so he must have reached back over, unlocked the door, opened it, pushed her out. Yep, OK.
