I have come to the conclusion that GHW Boosh was “the price for their support” exacted by the GOPe at the time. Like Trump, they didn’t want Reagan because, like Trump, he was not one of them. So to hang onto their control, the foisted GHW Boosh off on Reagan, and stupidly, Reagan took him, thinking he needed the GOPe to win. Today it “chaps my a$$” when Dana PeeRino wets herself over the Booshes on FNC.
