I don't think the FR threads should be deleted because they contain the denials and proof that the story is phony. A policy of simply deleting fake news threads would eliminate denials of false stories while leaving as yet undiscovered phony stories in the forum. It's important that the denials be given publicity.
Now that I've searched the net, I've found several other citations of the article that denies the existence of the interview, but I've found far more pages in which the story is cited with no denial.
Not necessarily delete permanently, but, until more verification is available. If Le Monde denies it, need more reliable sources.
