I would take it. All they have to do is make it clear opinions from ad's doesn't necessarily mean they endorse the message.
It suggest the viewers are not smart enough to figure it out themselves. That is an insult.
I agree. Take the money, might as well. It’s not as if not running the ads give CNN some pretense of fairness.
This is a very nasty ad; Heard it for the first time last night and thought it was a promo for one of those crazed and usually cruddy post-911 spy movies. Actually, I am of the view that as long as the ad is marked for what it is, let the billionaire creep spend his filthy money to no effect.
I agree with you on all points.
oops meant FOX
And you agree that CNN should have ran POTUS ad listing his first 100 days accomplishments? Because they refused.
Articles of impeachment have been filed in the House (H.Res. 438), but are not expected to go anywhere.
This is what FOX is trying to protect themselves from. Feedback from the first ad run must have been overwhelming in this sentiment and FOX was risking losing much more than the ads were worth. Think of the sound emanating from the boardroom as millions of viewers instantly click away to watch a competitor's offering.
Nonsense. Just be glad some BHO pinko judge isn’t forcing them to air it.
I am glad that Fox thought this out before sending out an ad that We the People would Boycott their channel for again...
This is some information on the ‘low boy’ who thinks he’s important:
A fool and his money are soon parted.
“Good conscience” is not the reason they took the ads off. Money only.
And his brother is the one who runs Common sense.org, and all those commercials you see about families not using cell phones at the table that run on Fox News.
Tom Steyer is creepy. He reminds me of the cult leader Applewhite. I saw a documentary on Applewhite and there were similarities from his earlier days to Tom Steyer as to voice, eyes, etc. Those who would follow a person like Applewhite might also be influenced by Stayer's absurd message.
Sounds like FOX is worrying about business, not politics.
They are a business, so I think that’s fine.
It is one thing to advertise different views on issues, it is another thing to go to the frantic extreme of Tom Steyer and present lies and utter nonsense.
It is good business to turn down revenue that costs you ratings or subscriber numbers. Are people changing channels because of the ads?
I agree with your analysis.
But I think the censorship is already in vivo on the other DNC operated networks.
I was living in San Diego when Marshall convinced everyone to commit suicide to catch the next alien spacecraft to paradise.
Used to drive through Rancho Santa Fe often before the Heaven’s Gate chumps took barbiturates and alcohol and placed bags over their heads. The Nike shoes and black uniforms with patches that read “Heaven’s Gate Away Team” were a nice touch.
This Steyer guy is not just creepy, he’s unquestionably demented.
Everything he says is unmitigated BS.
