Sure was. The purpose of marriage is a good environment for children. In that regard marrying, 30 or 40-year-old women is completely counterproductive as fertility drops like a rock once a woman hits her late 20s.
We’ve been programmed by our creator to seek out sexually mature and fertile women. It’s a Puritan mentality to view marrying someone younger than oneself as immoral, not a biblical or practical view.
Of course, a neo-purtian would just toss insults instead of debating the issue. You may hate the label, but frankly, everything you do screams it.

LOL, my friend. Do you even know what triggered means? I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many attempts at insulting me while at the same time being accused of insults. And yes 16 and 17 year olds are pretty darn close to being kids, they’re in the process of becoming adults, but not there yet. 30 something years olds pursuing them is, and we’ll use your word again, creepy. There are a few cultures and cults in the world that would disagree with this line of thinking, but not any with a shred of common sense of maybe decency.
