I do not know where I was on that date in 1979. Of course. But if someone brought me to a person’s name, someone I remembered knowing, from any time in my past, and I remembered we were friends, YES, I would at least remember whether we were romantically involved.
If you had a one night dalliance with a girl, you might not remember her. And you wouldn’t remember knowing she was your friend. I’m asking you to recreate what Moore said, that he remembers someone (not in his circle of peers but a child when he was an adult) AS HIS FRIEND. But has “no recollection” of them dating or being involved romantically. I call BS. You would remember whether or not you had those feelings for one of your old friends.

When you say “romantically involved” do you see a single date where there was no sex involved as “romantically involved?
For my part, I probably went out with and mostly made out with half the eligible girls in my high school at one time or another. Actual intercourse was pretty rare, even in the 70’s but we are talking about that, are we?
