Be an AMERICAN or not. If anyone is too hung up on and pledges allegiance to their skin color, genitalia, etc, a healthy country really has no room for that in my opinion.

A Black raises his fist and cries Black Power or wears a Black Pride shirt and they are praised and their racism defended.
A Hispanic his fist and cries Brown Power or wears a Brown Pride shirt and they are praised and their racism defended.
A white person that states that they have White Pride or merely says it's OK to be White is immediately called a racist and may very well be subject to physical assault for daring to be so........uppity! It's so very much like the final scene in Invasion of the Body Snatchers with all the POd People pointing and screaming at the lone humans left. Just replace the Pod People with Blacks, Hispanics and self loathing liberal Whites.

Janet Napolitano’s feel good pick. Georgia Tech to UC Davis? Sounds like an intro to a GEICO ad.
Napolitano announced May as her pick for chancellor just two days ago, after a search that began last summer. Napolitano worked on the recruitment with an advisory committee that included members representing faculty, students, staff, alumni, the campus foundation and regents.
Making her recommendation to the regents, Napolitano said May’s “expertise in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math) certainly meshes with what are the many academic and research strengths at UC Davis.”
But that was not the only reason for her pick. “More important, I believe, is that Gary May is a natural and dynamic leader who measures his own success by how well he helps others to succeed,” Napolitano said.
This thread could easily turn into another “All your base are belong to us” type photoshop lollapalooza.
