My son bought a high capacity magazine for my SKS. I was so frightened of it that I locked it in a box and put it in the attic of the garage. I check it every few weeks to make sure it hasn’t escaped.
Just do like this guy did and put a gun-cam on it so everyone can watch and report if it tries to escape.

I have several of them in my gun safe. The most dangerous one is in solitary confinement in the lower receiver.
