Common business practice in a lot of countries. A friend of mine had the same in the Ukraine, the group of woman at the hotel “were paid for”. He didn’t do it as a government official (they were warned in advance they would blackmail you for it) but the business delegates did lol.

That is true. . .personal experience here. . .and NO I did not do that sort of thing, ever, especially there.

I'm sure some people who have worked there have similar stories.
