Last time the FBI told Apple to develop a method of unlocking all iPhones (on their dime no less!) and hand it over.

Apple told the FBI to go pound sand.

If they really need the data, they can get it from the NSA.

Of course that would be admitting that the NSA is quite illegally and very unconstitutionally monitoring everyone.
