Manhattan DA to seek Weinstein indictment next week

The Manhattan district attorney will seek an indictment against Harvey Weinstein sometime next week, according to law enforcement sources.

The NYPD has been building a case against the predatory producer for allegedly raping actress Paz de la Huerta twice in 2010.

Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said last week the department is sharing information with DA Cy Vance’s office and the next step would be to obtain an arrest warrant to pick up Weinstein in Arizona, where he is in rehab.

Well, actually I've got a pretty good idea already. But it takes some chutzpah to make a TV series out of it.

This info has been out there for a couple of weeks.

While I do not find Weinstein to be a sympathetic figure, this is a joke. By the time Weinstein goes to trial, it will be nine years after the alleged rapes. That's right: the woman claims Weinstein raped her TWICE, the second time being when she let him into her apartment. Of all the woman who have spoken out against Harvey Weinstein, this one is the least credible. A trial like this will do nothing to help real rape victims.
