Maryland is a good state except for the DC suburbs (Montgomery and PG Counties) and Baltimore. The problem is that, like in Virginia, these counties have the numbers and the votes to overrule the good parts of the state. Too many Mass/NY City transplants.

BTW, I’m praying that the combination of New York/New Jersey snowbirds descending upon Florida with the elimination of the SALT tax deductions as well as refugees flooding in from Puerto Rico don’t flip Florida solidly blue.
Governor Scott is reportedly being encouraged to run against Bill Nelson for Senate, which also places the state house in Tallahassee in jeopardy.
Losing Florida would leave the GOP with only one large state, Texas, to count on. And, that only depends upon President Trump’s building of the Wall and associated efforts to clamp down on illegal immigrants.
In No/VA too many legal immigrants along with transplants from the Northeast. A high turnout in NoVA spells doom for Gillespie. The Dems have won the last 10 statewide elections. Tonight, we will find out if VA is gone for good.
