When the media and the dems try to tell us that there is no reason for a private citizen to own an AR-15, Willeford should come immediately to mind. Would anyone have tried to go up against the shooter if they only had a handgun?
Another point the left tries to push, that government is the solution rather than the problem, also takes a big hit when it turns out that the shooter should have failed a background check and been denied the right to buy his weapons only the air force didn’t enter the fact that he went to prison for cracking his son’s skull into the database. When the firearms store ran the background check he came up clean. Oops.
wish theyd also mention Hurricane Katrina...law enforcement quit and total break down in law and order...plus, the LA riots, same thing, cops just up and took off...civil unrest, more than justifies owning an AR 15. Cops could care less, they’ve got their asses covered.
Chances are if you had just something like a revolver and it was say a .38 you would have likely died if the shooter still had his AR, he had a front and rear ballistic vest plus a tactical helmet.
I am so glad i keep my M1A ready with two loaded mags, just in case.
What handgun, what distance?
