His parents are saying to lay off it was a robbery gone bad but now I think someone got to the parents and told them to shut up or else. As another FReeper said a few days ago:
"Murder is a crime against society, not against the parents of the victim. Prosecutors do not suspend a case because the victim's parents want to drop the matter."
Sorry I don't remember the name of the FReeper who made this excellent comment.

"Murder is a crime against society, not against the parents of the victim. Prosecutors do not suspend a case because the victim's parents want to drop the matter."It worked in the Kennedy assassination. Even today, to view the JFK assassination autopsy photos, you need to get the permission of the Kennedy family. The autopsy photos were sealed until 1988 when four doctors from Parkland were allowed to review them on a televised "documentary."
1988 NOVA DOCUMENTARY with Cronkite narrating At 30 minutes to see one of the ways the truth was hidden
The JFK autopsy was not complete because the "family" did NOT want it found out that JFK had addison's disease. The public (at that time) could NOT know that the Kennedy's and the government lied to hide the truth.
