Yeah, have to suspect drugs, though plenty of mental imbalance comes simply from being a raging leftard.
Also, I noticed that the assailant let his medical license lapse in 2015 and is listed as “retired” in medicine, even though he is only 59. In my experience doctors usually continue in practice for just as long as possible and don’t retire early, so one must wonder if he had professional and/or mental issues that led to him stopping the practice of medicine. Something to look into....
