The local resident is said to have had a shotgun. My guess (and it’s only a guess) is that the suspect bled out and then crashed.
More than likely true. Blood leaks out fast from mutliple holes.
Does anyone in Texas know what this guys all about? So far I’ve read he’s a converted Muslim, another story has him as an Antifa member and on and on.
RSBN confirmed it was a shotgun, reported at the presser. (I didn't hear it myself at the presser but I missed some of it.)
My guess (and its only a guess) is that the suspect bled out and then crashed.
That certainly seems plausible (assuming he did not shoot himself). There are no reports that LE engaged the gunman that I have seen so far.
The presser said the gunman was dressed in all black.
Thanks for the info !
Enlightened1 found some screen grabs... Ping !!

This is soooo bizarre. I don’t get why they won’t ID him publicly. Unless they’re waiting to speak with his family- but this is many hours later. Just don’t see the point.
Twitter saying weekly sermons are posted on YouTube. Might have video
Unlawful to carry = target rich, limited response environment.
I remembered hearing “Together we Rise”...went and googled it; it’s what they called the Pussy Hat March in DC earlier this year.
“You and your ilk are the worst representation of the FreeRepublic.”
No, ignorants like you are.
“Uhh... no. He wasnt. Regular old white guy. Want to try again?”
Listen Noob, I’m a “regular old white guy” this guy is anything but.
“Guess what... there are bad people in the world. And some are white. Deal with it.”
Guess what...white people can be muslim and antifa, who’d thought!
How dya like them apples, chode.
I think this is more about evil.
Thanks, Right Wing Assault!
Here's what I found:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The original TX carry law DID prohibit carry in church:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TEXAS PENAL CODE TITLE 10. OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, AND MORALS
CHAPTER 46.
WEAPONS
Sec. 46.035. UNLAWFUL CARRYING OF HANDGUN BY LICENSE HOLDER.
(b) A license holder commits an offense if the license holder intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries a handgun under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, regardless of whether the handgun is concealed, on or about the license holder's person:
(6) on the premises of a church, synagogue, or other established place of religious worship. [P.C.46.035(b)(6)]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fortunately, in 1997, the above [P.C.46.035(b)(6)] prohibition was repealed by [P.C.46.035 (i)] -- which is printed several pages farther down the page below [P.C.46.035(b)(6)]:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(i) Subsections (b)(4), (b)(5), (b)(6), and (c) do not apply if the actor was not given effective notice under Section 30.06.
~~~~~~~~~
IOW, licensed Texans may legally carry concealed in Church -- if no 30.06 sign is posted.
~~~~~~~~~
A legal discussion of this change -- and the TX Legislature's clumsiness in enacting it -- may be found at:

Why do I hope it was a 12 ga. full choke?
both gladio and northwoods were systemic false flag operations
systemic and at highest level.
Answers?
Maybe the rate of fire was so intense that everyone first was diving for their lives, including armed individuals. Kelley probably was moving around, make it harder to get a good shot when they had a chance.
Maybe the pastor had posted the 30.006 sign so few, or no, armed people were present in the church.
I think everyone on FR would like to know the answers. Has anyone seen any new information on this?
great test set.
Was amazed at how many CPE meets would do and the vendor tech would be gripping about problems and have no test set or be able to prove the trouble in either direction so blamed it on us.
Whipped out the ole TBerd and was able to actually show them the problem in real time and hand them a bill for our time. Usually timing as theres would be set wrong.
“Be prepared!”
In every way.
