I got the information about the guy who engaged the bad guy from the Governor’s news conference.

Press conference (via RSBN): Shooting started outside, went inside church, kept shooting, came outside, local resident engaged suspect outside church. Suspect dropped weapon and fled to vehicle. Pursued by resident. LE responded, car chase, crash, gunman found dead in vehicle. Not clear if killed himself or if finally succumbed to wound from resident (?). Young white male, wearing a ballistic vest, multiple weapons found in vehicle.
