That's probably true in a dirty state like Indiana that ranks 3rd in coal consumption, but I doubt that there many electric cars there.
The vast majority of electric cars are sold in California and only 3% of electricity there is generated from coal. That 3% is imported.
WINNING , WINNING , WINNING !!!
However under the rules, the US cannot leave the agreement until 2020...

We can't leave until 2020! What BS. Just leave. So what?
“That’s probably true in a dirty state like Indiana”
I take offense to that...
OMG that made me giggle. Thanks for posting. Love Trumps hair!
“Coal-fired generating plants provide the electricity for their virtue-signaling Priuses.”
Look, I’m on your side but you clearly have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WAHT A PRIUS IS.
When you apply the ‘brakes’ you are in fact utilizing an electric generator to charge the battery pack.
With the RARE exception a a thousand or so ‘plug-in Prius’s’ 100% of the battery is charged via braking.
The minuscule percentage of ‘plug-in’ Prius vehicles have a total electric range of less than 40 miles (most 11 miles).
